Role: Volunteers will teach in local schools and support local teachers within the classrooms.
Requirements: Volunteers with or without teaching experience are welcomed to apply. For volunteers with no teaching experience, training will be provided for you while within your program. For more information, please contact us.
Program Description: Teaching volunteers will work within local schools to support and teach local teachers and students. Volunteers without teaching experience will be provided training or will shadow local teachers to gain teaching experience. Volunteers with teaching experience will be provided a short review upon their arrival and placed into classrooms to teach. Volunteers will help students understand the concept of learning English by providing support to local schools that are short staffed.
Role: Volunteers will be working with local orphanages and transition houses to help provide support and care to the children.
Requirements: Volunteers do not need to have experience but they do need to have passion and initiative to want to work with children.
Project Description: Volunteers will be providing care and support to local orphanages. Volunteers will support by providing: homework help, helping children grow their social, emotional and mental skills and playtime. Volunteers are not required to have experience but we do want potential volunteers to have the passion and initiative.
Role: Volunteers will be working within local senior centers providing support and care to the elderly.
Requirements: Volunteers are not required to have experience but will need to have the initiative to want to help and work with the elderly.
Project Description: Volunteers will provide support and care to the elderly within senior centers. Volunteers will help create a comfortable environment for elderly people while gaining experience by providing health services to them.
Special Needs care
Role: Volunteers will work within clinics that help special needs children.
Requirements: Volunteers are required to be enrolled within a university or institution program.
Project Description: Volunteers will work with local professionals within clinics to help with rehabilitation services. Volunteers will gain the experience by working with various special needs patients from different backgrounds. Volunteers help these patients improve their emotional, social and mental skills so they can have a better quality of daily living.
Role: Volunteers within this program will be participating in construction projects to help improve or expand local institutions, hospitals, and also in other areas that need help.
Requirements: Volunteers will need to have the passion and dedication to want to help make a difference in this world.
Project Description: Volunteers will be working with local construction workers to help improve local institutions, hospitals, and other areas. Volunteers will help with regular tasks such as tiling, painting, plastering walls, etc., along with the construction workers.
Role: Volunteers will be working with local veterinaries to support and inform the public about the local stray population and spay/neuter programs.
Requirements: Volunteers do not need any experience but they do need to have the passion to want to work with animals. Volunteers that are studying within the animal field are more than welcome to apply for this program.
